Dear Friends,
Greetings! Today we returned from Nicaragua. Pastor
Chris Geeslin, Jeremy David Ruthvin, Brianna Shea Geeslin,
Katelyn Marie Smoot, Evelyn Hernandez and Dr. Chico
Hernandez
made up the team that went.
We started our activities with the 3-day Revival meetings at
the outdoor park in the town of Dolores in the state of
Carazo.
Each night, souls were saved and
reconciled to the Lord and healing took place. Pastor Chris
and I preached the revival. The youth each had a part, as
well as Evelyn, and also at the altar ministry. There was
great joy and various churches attended supporting the
activity.
We visited an orphanage where Nicolas and Karla Diaz are
directing and we were able to see the children and had a
great time with them. We were able to go to the classroom as
they were having classes. Karla and Nicolas are doing a
great work.
The team then visited two feeding programs, one in La
Boquita and one in Huhuete. Both programs are feeding a
lunch to very needy children.
These 2 programs are part of 14 programs directed by Pastor
Roberto Mendieta. A total of 1,500 children are
being fed daily.
The Redeemer International School of Ministry is expanding
in Nicaragua under the leadership of Rob Schildt. We just
had our graduation with 35 students graduating. These
students are very dedicated and are being sent out to plant
new churches. There are plans to open a school at the prison
in Granada, Carazo this year. There are 30 students who
will be participating in this program of study.
We also visited and ministered at various churches,
including:
Principe de Paz: Dolores, Carazo
C.C.N.P.: San Marcos, Carazo
Four Square Church: Diriamba, Carazo
Pentecostal Baptist Church: Jinotepe, Carazo
El Tabernaculo: Cruz de Guadalupe; Jinotepe, Carazo
Verbo Divino: Jinotepe, Carazo
El Mesias: San Marcos, Carazo
Torre Fuerte: El Sol, Carazo
At every service souls were saved and reconciled and there
were reports of healing. At the Four Square church
a little baby born with a bone protruding near her neck was
healed and the bone returned to it's normal position. The
mom was weeping with joy. There were many other healings and
happenings to God be the glory!
I just want to close and say that this group of youth
from Redeemer international Family Church were a great
blessing during this trip. Their level of love for God
and people really made a difference. Jeremy is being used of
the Lord in preaching and ministering the Word. We are
very proud of these youth that God is raising up.
Please pray for them.
Again, Pastor Chris was a
blessing in preaching and blessing the people there. My wife
Evelyn just blessed all by her love and compassion to
the people. She was our interpreter and she did an
excellent job. Thanks to all for your prayers.

Greetings friends...
Just a quick report from my trip last month to Nicaragua.
Roberto continues to amaze me. He has reorganized his
feeding program; consolidating it from 26 locations down to
a more manageable 12. He’s now feeding on average
1,020 to 1,030 kids a day.
Here are some photos from that February trip. On behalf of a
multitude of grateful young tummies, a most sincere thank
you.
