A visit to most of Nicaragua is a trip to jaw
dropping reality.
For those of us who are not from a third world
country...it is difficult to comprehend that
this is, in fact, reality for a large portion of
the world.
In Nicaragua...
Thirty-three percent of the children suffer
from chronic malnutrition. Fifty percent of the
population do not have access to
much-needed medicines and there are only
approximately three doctors for every
8,000 people.
