The Healing Rooms of Frederick is a non-profit organization
affiliated with the International Association of Healing
Rooms in Spokane, Washington and a ministry of Redeemer
International Family Church. We are dedicated to promoting
healing of the sick in the Name and by the Power of Jesus
Christ.
We are not a counseling ministry or a medical unit of any
kind.
We are a ministry of prayer based on Biblical truths
concerning healing that comes through the saving power of
God in Jesus Christ. We have found that there is only one
"super-star" on our teams: Jesus! He is the head and we are
the body. In this way we all can do the work of the
ministry.
Ministry Teams
Our Ministry Teams consist of Spirit-filled volunteers from
churches within the community. Each team member has
completed the training outlined by the International
Association of Healing Rooms in Spokane, WA. The team
members have been trained to use Scriptural truths in Jesus’
name to minister prayer to the spirit, soul and body.
What Should You Expect
The Healing Rooms of Frederick believe that Jesus, being the
same yesterday, today and forever still heals today. We
offer a safe, confidential and loving place for you to come
and receive prayer. The Healing Rooms are set up much like a
Doctors office. You will be greeted by a receptionist and
then asked to sign in, you will complete an information
sheet consisting of name, address, basic information, and
your reason for coming. The waiting time can take from a few
minutes up to a half of an hour, depending on the number of
people who have come for prayer before you. When a Prayer
Team is available, your information sheet will be given to
them to read and pray over. Then one of the Prayer Team
members will come to escort you to a private room where 2 to
3 Prayer Team members will be waiting to pray over you under
the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Please feel free to express
thoughts or questions throughout the session. You are
welcome to return as often as you'd like.
