West
Africa
In 2006, Redeemer International Family Church extended support to an individual from Ghana,
William Doe Agbeti, to train as a Bible student under the
Redeemer International School of
Ministry (RISOM) program.
While still in school, William
developed plans for the establishment of the Redeemer
International School of Ministry (RISOM) Ghana, under the
auspices of Redeemer International Ministries. By June 2009,
RISOM Ghana had produced its first batch of two graduates,
Isaac Mensah Fixlan and Leticia Agyare.
Upon graduation, Isaac and Leticia planted a branch of RIFC
in rural Ghana, the RIFC Redemption Life Center, under the
ambit of RISOM Ghana in the same year.
In
the first half of 2010, Redemption Life Center with its
motto, RAISING LEADERS FOR CHRIST, plans to acquire the
local language Twi version of the RISOM curriculum to begin a
permanent bible-training program for its church members,
starting with five students. In the same year 2010, RISOM
Ghana plans to train more students, deploy them in rural
Ghana to plant, and operate local RIFC churches.
The RIFC international vision of using RISOM to have
effective discipleship, leadership, and church
multiplication through ordinary people is gaining more and
more grounds.
What started as a very humble RIFC beginning is gradually
having a multiplied effect half way across the world in
Africa.
God has begun some moves using William to plant RIFC local
churches throughout West Africa. Already, serious
arrangements are underway to open branches in Togo, Benin
and Nigeria soon.
William has started building teams of individuals and
organizations, as a collaborative imperative, for reaching
West Africa, using RISOM as God's chosen instrument for the
job.
All persons and institutions interested in cooperating with
William to take West Africa for Christ, should please
contact William directly at risomghana@yahoo.com or Bill
Wilson at wcwilson@verizon.net.
Please make time to pray for William, his family and
ministry. |
